Home Care in Sacramento CA
Support For Home was delighted to attend HCR Manor Care’s 5th annual Community Crab Feed in Citrus Heights, Thursday, October 20th. The team at Manor care invited many community partners including representatives from a wide range of elder care service provider companies including hospice, home health, home care & elder law fields for example as well as several local hospital case management nurses and various other health care providers.
The event itself was absolutely AMAZING! Attendees were treated to first class treatment from the time you entered the huge tent to the time you left with your belly full. They had wine & beer available at the door & each person received a raffle ticket. After getting your drink there was open seating at elegantly dressed tables. The back of the tent had a huge display in the center of beautiful fresh, mouthwatering crab. On either side of the crab display were other stations that contained yummy clam chowder, Italian pasta & bread rolls.
If the food wasn’t amazing enough, it was a great opportunity to network amongst so many community professionals & have a good time. They even had disco lights, a dance floor & Dj playing a fun selection of music. At the end of the event they even raffled off a large TV. We are thankful & appreciated the opportunity to share in the event. If you are not familiar with HCR Manor Care, they are a leading provider of short-term, post-hospital services and long-term care in the surrounding Sacramento area.
